Rockland BOCES’ Project SEARCH is a unique business-led transition program for students with disabilities in their final year of high school. This career exploration experience is designed for teens whose main goal is post-graduation employment.
Through a partnership with Good Samaritan Hospital, students participate in a variety of worksite rotations and gain valuable job skills. Individualized job development and placement are based on the student’s experiences, strengths and skills. Mentors and staff provide support with accommodations, adaptations and on-the-job coaching.
