High School Equivalency (GED® Test)

After the phone interview, selected students will be invited to attend a 2 hours orientation. During the orientation, students will be tested in reading and math and will learn:  

• Details about the GED preparation program (what it entails and what to expect)
• Required materials
• Paths to your High School Equivalency Diploma
• Program policies and procedures

Students invited to attend an orientation will be asked to provide contact information and schedule an appointment for additional reading and math testing.

Students will be asked to attend a second day for additional testing in reading and math. This is to better assess your level within the GED® preparation program, ensuring you're placed in the right classes. Only those who attend the orientation and complete all the assessments can register for classes.

After the final testing, students will receive a call and email confirming the schedule of classes, location, books, teacher information, and important dates. This confirmation ensures that you are fully prepared and ready to start your classes.

Students who do not show up for class within the first two weeks of the program starting will lose their seat in the program. It's crucial to maintain regular attendance to make the most of your learning experience. If you miss the start, you will have to restart your enrollment process.
