Learn residential and commercial electricity, plus communication and data wiring. Work with wire switches, lights, receptacles, and appliances. New technologies in green and smart house wiring are emphasized. Prepare for your National Electric Code License.

Admission Requirements*
  • NYS High School Diploma/NYS HSE or required reading level: 7th grade
  • Positive suitability interview
  • Students must successfully complete Year I to proceed to Year II

*Students with two years of full-time work experience or training in the field may be eligible to have the prerequisites waived.
