Prepare for ASE Certification exams while you gain practical experience working on vehicles provided by the school and the community. This program is certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation/ Automotive Service Excellence.

Quick Facts

Admission Requirements*
  • NYS High School Diploma/NYS HSE or required reading level: 7th grade
  • Positive suitability interview
  • Students must successfully complete Year I to proceed to Year II

*Students with two years of full-time work experience or training in the field may be eligible to have the prerequisites waived.

  • Complete Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE)
  • Complete application package
  • Receive acceptance letter
  • Make required tuition payment
