New Beginnings at Our Rockland BOCES Preschool Program

The Rockland BOCES Preschool is buzzing with excitement as young learners embark on their first full academic year. Eager to learn their ABCs, develop communication skills, and take on new challenges, students are ready for a year of growth and discovery.

Officially opened in December 2023, our preschool program is now fully operational and provides a nurturing environment for children ages 3 to 5 with unique needs. Located on the Rockland BOCES main campus in West Nyack, it serves students who require support and services based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP), which addresses each child's specific academic and developmental goals.

Students are already making friends and enjoying activities, including the Preschool’s accessible playground. The playground offers a fun and safe space for them to unwind, build motor skills, and prepare for learning in the classroom. With a focus on personalized instruction and holistic development, Rockland BOCES Preschool is committed to helping every student thrive, building a strong foundation for future success.
