MOVER of the Month - April 2025

Congratulations to Levi our Rockland BOCES Jesse J. Kaplan School “MOVER of the Month” for April!  Since joining the MOVE™ program, Levi has pushed himself to move across the school building with ease using a gait trainer and tram.

“Levi is a great student here and we love having him in school and working with him,” says Kaplan Physical Therapist Ryan Linehan. “He loves walking around the hallway, smiling and giving everyone a big hello as he passes.”

Kaplan’s MOVE™ (Mobility Opportunities via Education) program combines therapy and education to teach children with physical disabilities and complex needs the functional skills of sitting, standing, and walking. MOVE™ aims to give children an opportunity to lead more independent and fulfilling lives. Every child deserves the right to MOVE™.
