Little Stars Launch at Lumina
Our Rockland BOCES Lumina School at Viola is proud to launch Little Stars! With four classes and 35 kindergartners, first-graders and second-graders, the program emphasizes academic interventions, self-regulation and collaborative problem-solving for neurodivergent learners.
“This program was developed in response to requests from component school districts, to support their youngest learners,” said Dr. Christine Ditrano, assistant superintendent of student services. “We can't wait to see the potential in our Little Stars as they grow in this new environment.”
