Jesse J. Kaplan School Announces New Supervisor and Principal

Our Rockland BOCES school community excitedly welcomes Sheila Hudson to her new role as Supervisor of the Jesse J. Kaplan School! Sheila previously served as Principal of the Jesse J. Kaplan School: Social Communications and TEAMS Programs. Sheila’s first-hand knowledge of our students, staff, families and programs will further enhance and guide the Kaplan community and mission. She will oversee the administrative team, as well as building operations. The Jesse J. Kaplan School will continue to feature our two outstanding programs - VISTA and Social Communication/TEAMS - with a principal and assistant principal leading each program.

Taking over as Principal of the Jesse J. Kaplan School: Social Communications and TEAMS Programs is Nicole Prisco. Nicole is a familiar face at Rockland BOCES, having previously served as an assistant principal and principal with us. Since 2018, she has held a variety of roles at Hawthorne Country Day School in Westchester County including School Administrator and Program Coordinator.
