Shannon Hargrove Named Director of Rockland Works

Rockland BOCES is thrilled to welcome Shannon Hargrove as the new Director of Rockland Works - Rockland County’s one-stop career center. Hargrove is an accomplished career development professional with 15 years of experience in higher education, marked by her expertise in strategic planning, fostering partnerships, curriculum development, experiential learning and career coaching.

In her most recent role as Director of Experiential Learning at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, Hargrove embedded career readiness into the curriculum, designed and facilitated leadership development programs and built strong collaborations with local business and industry leaders. Her impressive background also includes related roles at Mercy University and Manhattanville University.

Rockland BOCES, Rockland Works and the Workforce Development Board of Rockland County are excited to have Shannon at the helm of Rockland Works, guiding efforts to empower job seekers and strengthen workforce connections throughout the region.
