Rockland BOCES Communications Team Earns 27 Awards From NSPRA

The Rockland BOCES Communications Service was recognized for excellence in July by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) for outstanding achievement in educational communications. Our strategic messaging, graphic design work, social media campaigns, newsletter writing, calendar layouts, website design and videography produced on behalf of our agency and component school districts won the praise of judges:

🏅 Award of Merit: 3
🏅 Honorable Mention: 12

Eleven of the honors are Awards of Excellence, the highest level of recognition. Additionally, our messaging developed on behalf of Nyack Public Schools earned a Golden Achievement Award as part of the 2026 NSPRA National School Communication Awards contest. Golden Achievement recognizes outstanding, strategic work in all aspects of school public relations, communication, marketing and engagement.

The 27 awards reflect the creativity, hard work and dedication of the entire 21-member team. The Rockland BOCES Communications Service is led by Executive Director of Communications Scott Salotto and includes the talents and skills of Jen Citrolo, Bridget Clark, Michelle Calcaterra, Gina Carbone, Jonathan Clark, Ashley Columbia, Jacqueline Dodrill, Evan Fass, Amanda Feeney, Amanda Fischetti, Madeline Girandola, Luis Guadalupe, Michele Kessler, Francesca King, Meg McCluskey, Emily Neary, James Phillips, Hailey Robertson, Morgan Stoll and Trisha Sullivan.

Each year, the National School Public Relations Association recognizes and honors those whose efforts and expertise have had a positive and lasting impact on school public relations and public education.
