Leadership Rockland Visits BOCES

On December 18, Rockland BOCES welcomed Leadership Rockland to its West Nyack campus for an inside look at BOCES’ role in shaping the future of Rockland County youth. Rockland BOCES District Superintendent and CEO Christopher D’Ambrese presented on the Portrait of a Graduate, part of the New York State Education Department’s plan to transform education. Rockland BOCES Board President Deborah Gatti (NRCSD) and Vice President Sabrina Charles-Pierre (ERCSD) also shared insights into the critical role of school board members.

Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC) and Hudson Valley P-TECH students showcased the skills they have developed through their respective trade programs. Culinary Arts students prepared and served a delicious meal for guests, highlighting their hands-on training and professionalism.

The visit was a full day of collaboration and inspiration, showcasing the incredible work taking place at Rockland BOCES.
