Rockland BOCES Students Take Home Gold at GNYADA Competition

Students from the Rockland BOCES Career and Technical Education Center’s (CTEC) Certified Automotive Technology program earned top honors this week at the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association (GNYADA) competition.

Two Rockland BOCES teams placed in the event, showcasing their technical knowledge and automotive skills against students from across the region.

First-place honors went to Gabe Mello of the Clarkstown Central School District and Logan Hoffman of the North Rockland Central School District. Second-place honors were awarded to Kalvin Munoz of the North Rockland Central School District and Niko Forcellati of Northern Valley Old Tappan. As part of their achievement, both teams will receive scholarships to support their continued education.

Rockland BOCES also recognized Frank Gelhaus of the Nanuet Union Free School District for representing the program in the competition.
