CTEC's Yandiel Rodriguez Named NYS CREA Work-Based Learning Student of the Year

Rockland BOCES is excited to share that our Career and Technical Education Center's (CTEC) very own Yandiel Rodriguez has been named the NYS Career Readiness Educators Association (CREA) Work-Based Learning Student of the Year! This prestigious award recognizes a graduating senior who excels in a work-based learning program, bridging classroom knowledge with hands-on, real-world experience.

Yandiel, a senior in the North Rockland Central School District and a standout in our Automotive Technology Program, is celebrated for his hard work, dedication and leadership.  Yandiel is known for going above and beyond in the shop - from helping his peers to organizing tools during his spare time.

Whether he's organizing the shop, helping his peers, or building tools in his spare time, Yandiel consistently proves to be a hardworking and dedicated student.  We are so proud of Yandiel and his incredible achievements.
