As a community, among the most important things we can do is to provide a high-quality education for all students in safe and secure learning environments. Rockland BOCES respects and supports the needs of all of our populations, including our transgender students, families and staff.  Additionally, we will continue in our commitment and practice that a student’s immigration status will have no impact whatsoever on his or her education at Rockland BOCES.

We know diversity is a key strength of our educational community. Rockland BOCES will continue to provide welcoming and affirming environments and our protections for all students and staff will remain the same today as they were yesterday.

As always, our Board of Education prohibits any policy or procedure which results in discrimination on the basis of age, color, disability, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, marital status, race, weight, religion, sex or sexual orientation.
